The Gujarat branch of the Indian Red Cross, which is celebrating 2010 as its golden jubilee year, and which has trained about 2,000 volunteers in the state in disaster management, now plans to train media personnel for the same task.

Journalist, writer, and art analyst has contributed over a thousand articles to various newspapers including The Times of India, Ahmedabad Mirror and Daily News Analysis (DNA), and she has authored three books.
